OverServed is the bouncer for your phone. Six pieces, and they only work in one direction: sober you decides, drunk you lives with it.

Arm it before you head out, or let it arm itself every Friday at 10 PM. Pick the contacts that are off-limits tonight and the apps that stay shut. One deliberate hold, and the door's closed.

Try to open Instagram at 1 AM and you get a wall instead. Try to call the ex and the call just… doesn't go through. Rides and emergency services always work. That is not a setting you can turn off.

Want back in early? Pass the test. It's a three-second reaction game, and it is genuinely hard to pass when you shouldn't be texting anybody. Sober you breezes through it. That's the point.

Type the message here first. We read the typing, not just the words: the fat-finger typos where your thumb hit the key next door, the "heyyyy" with four extra letters, the 1 AM capslock. You get a score, an honest opinion, and the option to let it sit for sixty seconds. Most drafts don't survive the sixty seconds.

Spotter

Spotter watches whether you are responding.

Spotter checks in on you through the night. If you stop answering, it tells the friend you picked where you are and helps you get a ride home. It does not analyze your drink, your body, or any substance.

When Spotter is on, the app asks for a quick check-in from time to time. It takes about three seconds.
If you miss one, you get a quiet nudge on your own phone. Nothing is sent to anyone.
If you keep missing them, the screen goes full-brightness with two choices: get a ride, or tap "I'm fine."
If you still don't respond, the friend you named is told that you stopped checking in, along with your approximate location at that moment.
A panic button is always available, always one press, and always free.

Spotter cannot detect drugs. Nothing on a phone can.

It watches whether you are responding — that is all it does, and that is all we will ever claim it does. Silence from Spotter never means you are safe. Spotter is not a medical device and is not a substitute for emergency services. If you believe you are in danger, contact local emergency services.

Spotter is free. All of it. Always. It is not behind a subscription and it never will be.

Your data

Your data stays on your phone.

We built it this way because it is the only version of this app that deserves your contact list. There is almost nothing to collect, so we don't.

Your contacts never leave your device. Protected contacts are hidden and restored from encrypted, app-private storage on your phone. Your address book is never uploaded.
What you type into Slosh Check is scored on your phone and thrown away. Never written to disk, never uploaded, never read by us.
The only thing that ever leaves your phone is a buddy alert. And only when you asked for one and stopped answering check-ins. Location is sent at that moment only — there is no location history.
We do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone. No ad networks, no data brokers, no exceptions.
Emergency calls are never blocked. Rides and emergency services stay reachable at all times, by design.

The full detail — every permission, every stored item, every right you have — is in the privacy policy. If your contacts didn't come back after a night out, go to restore your contacts.
